Town of Renfrew gets New Brand
Town of Renfrew recently announced its new brand refresh for the Community. “The logo sets us part from other surrounding communities,” stated Councillor Arlene Jamieson, Chair of the Economic Development Committee. “It gives us a strong identity and allows us to be unique and competitive in our attraction efforts.”
“The new logo will help the Town in several ways”, said Tom Graham, of TD Graham + Associates. “First, the new brand presents the Town as an attractive, modern community looking to grow, while preserving its heritage and celebrating its past. But perhaps as importantly, the new logo will make promotion and signage much easier, with a clear and legible name. As municipalities begin to adopt accessibility (AODA) guidelines for their communities, having a readable logo is one of the first steps. The Town of Renfrew has taken this step.”

Our Work
Telling your story well means having a strong brand, demonstrating value, and leading with benefits. It also means supporting your message with well-designed and creative materials – brochures, sales collateral, website – that underscore the advantages of doing business with you. Below are just some of the amazing clients we’ve worked with over the last 30+ years.
Whitby
The Town of Whitby, one of the fastest growing municipalities in Ontario and Canada, is centrally located and part of the Greater Golden Horseshoe Area, Canada's economic engine. Working with our strategic partner McSweeney & Associates, TD Graham + Associates developed an economic development marketing plan, with the goal of attracting investment to the community. One of the strategies created was the design and implementation of a consolidated brand for the town, along with collateral materials for use by their economic development department. The domain name ChooseWhitby.ca was recommended, and TD Graham designed the look for the economic development website. Check it out here.
Glengarry
Glengarry County is a unique area in eastern Ontario that celebrates its rich Celtic heritage through numerous festivals & events. TD Graham + Associates was hired create a brand for the region that captured the essence of its assets and traditions. We developed the tagline "Ontario's Celtic Heartland" and designed a brand that included the Glengarry tartan – recreated pixel by pixel from the actual Scottish plaid commissioned by the Glengarry Highland Games Association.
The brand won first place at the Economic Developers Council of Ontario Marketing Awards. Other elements of the branding entry included identity guidelines and suggested layouts for promotional material including a rack card and ad layouts. Judges comments about the entry: "Fun, cool, edgy. Good use of heritage, using the tartan throughout." Och, laddie! Can ye hear the pipes?!
North Grenville
One of eastern Ontario’s fastest growing municipalities, North Grenville – including Kemptville and surrounding area – is a unique blend of rural and small town culture. TD Graham + Associates has provided extensive marketing support to help put this community of almost 17,000 on the map. From the design of the brand and signage, to the development of economic development investment strategies and materials, we’ve helped this community get the message out to residents, businesses and prospective investors.
With our web partners Probase Web, we’ve created economic development and tourism websites, along with a brand new, completely responsive municipal site: www.NorthGrenville.ca.
